MATF is a leader in the movement to provide youth with a wide variety of opportunities to connect with peers in the great outdoors. We believe that a fulfilling childhood and adolescence is experienced through in-person, active engagement with the world around us rather than through a screen. Our organization brings kids and teenagers together to learn about and experience nature in a variety of active ways including fishing, camping, hiking, birding, and exploration of the arts in a natural setting. We partner with schools, community organizations, and parents to connect youth with adults who are passionate about sharing their experiences, hobbies, and knowledge with the next generation.
